About Joe

Band Nickname: Saad

Joseph Thomas Saad is the current drummer/percussionist and co-founder of Smoove Series. Hidden in the back, it took years for Joesaad to get a microphone. A John Bonham wannabe, Joesaad would regularly recite stories from his "days in Zeppelin" on stage, completely derailing shows and causing ticket sales to plummet. After a short band hiatus, Joesaad realized he wasn't even born when Bonham had passed and the band slowly began to trust him again. During the hiatus, Joesaad traveled the likes of world and finding his inner chi in places like Florida, South Carolina and Massachusetts. He is now, once again, the backbeat of the band (still in the back, he isn't fully trusted) and believes he is "The Godfather"... all MCA's fault.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz Tito's Handmade Vodka
  • 4 oz sparkling water or club soda
  • 1 lime slice or wedge for garnish and flavor
  • 1-2 large ice cubes

How to Make It

  1. Fill a glass (a highball glass or a small tumbler works well) with ice.
  2. Pour the Tito's Handmade Vodka over the ice.
  3. Top with sparkling water.
  4. Stir gently to combine the ingredients.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge, squeezing some of the juice into the drink if desired, before dropping it in.
